Folders becoming shortcuts(Fixed)

If the folder in your flashdrive become shortcut due to virus, how can you fix it?


I will only discuss one method now, but incase its unable to solve yours, then comment for other methods.

Step 1. Run command (fastest way of doing that is pressing the "WINDOWS Key + R" on the keyboard and type "cmd")

Step 2. In command window, enter "attrib -h -r -s /s /d F:\*.*" But change the F: to the removeable drive label, if it's other drive labels,
Press "ENTER" on the keyboard to run the commend.

Now you should see an additional folder without shortcut symbol, Open it and copy out all your files with no shortcut symbol.

Format your flashdrive and copy back your files.
